I’m Dominykas, based in Lithuania. Together with my father, we started this small family business after a magical evening in Lisbon. While wandering the streets, I stumbled upon a circus-themed shop that felt like both a tiny tinned fish museum and a magical library - shelves and walls stacked with colorful tins, each one carrying a story and a flavor waiting to be discovered. In that moment, I knew these treasures had to travel to the far north of Europe.

Tinned fish might seem simple, but in Portugal it’s a centuries-old craft. At Sardinele, we work with both well-known producers and small artisanal makers, whose love and care for every tin is truly special. Each tinned fish tells a story, preserves a piece of Portugal, and carries a little bit of the sea.
